ANZAC Writing

My writing is about ANZAC for the people who fighted for us to save our country the ones who really believed in themselves if we didn’t win world war 1 we wouldn’t have a free town or free country but we one so we do have a free town & country if they didn’t fight for us we would be nothing.

Every year there is ANZAC day this year we had ANZAC day at school we had to stand in front of the field of remembrance we had to stand for 5 or 4 minutes it was a bit boring but I know why we did that to remember the people that fighted for us.

On August 29th 191`4 NZ forces capture german samoa the first NZ soldier to die in NZ was Willem Ham in world war 1 it is really good to remember the first one to die in the world war one cause he went in there for us he died for us.

It is really important to remember the soldiers who gave us our freedom and the dog that send notes for each author if they had to do it they would be dead thats why thats good that the dogs helped out in war.

Honua and Hikianalia powhiri

On the 25/3/15 the two Hawaiian waka named Hokule'a and the Hikianalia came to visit all the Manaia Kalani school at Pt England beach.

The names of the two Waka are Hokule'a and the Hikianalia and will be welcomed by Pt England and other Manaia Kalani school .We are going to welcome them with a waiata and haka and all the students that are going to be there. Their Waka is going to land at Pt England beach.

That is why the other schools are coming to our beach. I think the reason the Hawaiians  are coming is because they are here to learn about maori culture. We also might learn about the Hawaiian Culture.  They might teach us about their Waka and how they got here.

My 10 Year old Birthday

On Sunday march 1 it was my birthday me and i turned 10 my brother owen went to the gi pools and had a swim then had something to eat we ate some chips and then we swam again this boy named issac started to get smart to us so my brother punched him on the face! then my mum came and picked us up to go home so we can have a shower after that we went to valentine then we had something to eat i ate chips and nacho and curry and sushi then we had some Ice cream when I did my one I had vanilla ice cream then i put heaps of chocolate sprinkles then i sat down and ate when i was finish i had some green jelly after that we went home and i blew the chocolate cake i missed out on my cake because my little sisters were greedy and ate it all but it did not matter.

Duffy Show

On Monday we went to a duffy show we had to sit down during the show. The show was about reading, one of the actors did not like to read another actor was duffy, he was trying to make her like reading but she said “NO”.

Then she went to the Library and she saw Duffy, and said well look you at rich guy then Duffy said I did not pay for these so she said oooooooooo you stole them then Duffy “NO” Im using them then the girl said say what and then she went to the library and licked reading after all.
